Job summary

• Cross-train to support other areas of Patient Access.

As a Patient Access Associate, you willbe:

Registering accounts for CMH ambulance reports accurately andefficiently.

Creating a friendly atmosphere for those seeking services in the Emergency Room.

Completing registration of allPre-ERaccounts accurately andtimelybased on notification of medical screenings being performedin accordance withEMTALA guidelines.

Ensuring correct insurance mnemonics arelisted,and billing addresses are given.

Cross-training when applicable to function in various areas of Patient Access.

Qualifications

Education:High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:Customer service experience- minimum of 1 year

Skills:Preferred knowledge of medical terminology

Licensure/Certification:N/A

Physical Requirements:Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
