Sandia National Laboratories seeks a mechanical or systems engineer with space systems experience to support a broad portfolio of high-security projects. Work includes analysis, modeling, and hardware demonstrations to inform DoD and IC acquisition and risk reduction.

The role requires collaboration with DoD/IC sponsors, maturing enabling technologies, and executing space flight payloads through full lifecycle in a TS/SCI environment. Onsite work and occasional travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or science.
• Active DOE Q and SCI, or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Deliver analyses, models, or hardware demos for high-security space projects.
• Collaborate with diverse multidisciplinary teams and sponsors.
• Develop proposals, reports, or presentations for internal and external partners.
• Design or develop space flight solutions and test space systems.
