Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of directly relevant education and engineering or scientific experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or Equivalent.
• Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a highly related field where an independent research project was a graduation requirement (e.g., independent project, thesis, or dissertation).
• Masters in Mechanical Engineering plus 2 years of experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with staff and technologists on challenging projects to design mechanical engineering solutions.
• Design components and systems for their entire lifecycle, cradle to grave.
• Provide technical guidance to laboratory technologists.
• Join the team and contribute to impactful work onsite.
