Job summary

C3EL is seeking a cleared Senior Network Engineer to support the DoD medical mission across CONUS and worldwide. This role requires top-tier expertise in LAN/WAN/WLAN, network management, and security, with leadership responsibility for network specialists.

The incumbent will resolve complex network issues, advise government staff, and drive technical standards. A Secret clearance or higher and citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• CCNP certification.
• CISSP certification.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, with government officials and technical personnel.
• Mastery of TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with Windows networks, UNIX, and OpenVMS environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CONUS and global point of contact for network issues and management.
• Lead and coordinate Network Specialists and contractors.
• Provide high-level installation, configuration, documentation and troubleshooting of LAN/WLAN/WAN equipment.
• Advise Government staff on network design, deployment, and management for DoD DHA facilities.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WLAN/WAN across OSI layers using Orion SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible.
• Establish and configure firewalls, VPNs, and IDS to strengthen security.
• Prepare technical recommendations and coordinate standards with NetMOD team.
