Allied Universal in Boulder, CO seeks a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer to provide flexible, reliable security coverage at an assigned site. Pay is $26.14 per hour with fixed anchor shifts and options to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident response, and detailed report writing. Candidates must have a DoD Secret Clearance and a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Competenze

Cleared Security Officer-Driving in Boulder, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access‑control concerns in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
