Allied Universal in Aurora, CO is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Driving) with a DoD Top Secret Clearance. You will perform unarmed security duties, patrols, and access control at an aerospace/defense location, while providing excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and a computer or tablet experience is preferred. The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with day shifts on weekends and weekdays.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and credential-verification processes in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions through clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
