Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Vehicle Patrol) in Colorado Springs, CO. You will serve and safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations, conduct routine vehicle patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service.

This role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site access requirements.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
  

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
