Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Boulder, CO. The position offers reliable hours with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $23.46 per hour with a fixed shift and potential to increase earnings through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident response, and customer service across a technology site.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established protocols.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
