Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed) to protect personnel, property and information at client sites in McLean, VA. You will receive site-specific training and play a key role in enforcing security protocols while advancing your career in the security field.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience) and a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a DoD security clearance (national security eligibility).
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• 3+ years security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and professional conduct.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate client-specific security technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services to safeguard personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols by foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect people, assets, and classified information.
• Greet guests and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow site-specific post orders and report safety concerns or incidents in a timely manner.
• Respond to alarms and act as a first responder in emergencies.
