Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Cleared Security Officer. You will protect personnel, facilities, and sensitive information while following site-specific security protocols tied to your clearance level.

Required include a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, DoD clearance eligibility, 3+ years of armed security, US citizenship, and 21+ years of age. We offer health insurance, a 401(k) plan, ongoing training, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience.
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state).
• Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance.
• Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary
