Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed) to protect personnel and sensitive information at client sites in McLean, VA. The role includes training on site-specific security protocols tied to the clearance level, offering growth within a dynamic security team.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a DoD clearance, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• DoD security clearance at appropriate level.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in basic computer use and wireless technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services safeguarding personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols by foot, bicycle, or vehicle around the facility.
• Greet guests and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and incidents.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergencies; act as a first responder.
