Allied Universal is hiring a Cleared Security Officer - Unarmed in Reston, VA. You will protect personnel, property, and sensitive information while adhering to site-specific security protocols tied to your DoD clearance level.

The role requires a DoD security clearance and at least 3 years of security, LE, or military police experience; you must be 21+ and able to pass required licensing. The position offers full-time schedules and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a DoD security clearance.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people, assets, and sensitive information
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns or incidents via written and oral communications to client or other security personnel
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations
