Job summary

Leidos in Beavercreek, OH near Wright-Patterson AFB is seeking a cleared Network Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and field new features for multiple platforms. You will communicate issues with customers, manage networks, and support VMware environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 6+ years in Networking, Communications, or Systems Engineering
Ability to identify issues and research fixes
Strong desire to grow and learn new technologies
Fundamental network knowledge: IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, VLANs, Switch configuration

Responsibilities

Effectively communicate hardware and software issues with customers and end users, including leading meetings
Track and document hardware and software across multiple locations and programs
Design and engineer program environments, enclaves, and networks
Engineer, monitor, manage, and troubleshoot networks including encryptors, firewalls, routers, and switches
Engineer, monitor, manage, and troubleshoot VMware virtual environments
Research, implement, and troubleshoot Microsoft and Linux products
Manage Active Directory, group policy, routing and DNS
Execute IAVA processes and system security scans per SSPs
Initiate IAVA responses and extend patches to sites
Review logs and vulnerabilities to engineer remediation
Plan and manage installations and upgrades for networks and servers
