Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in cybersecurity ISSE role (or 12+ years with no degree).
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Strong understanding of Linux; ability to write Bash scripts and modify security configurations.
• Experience documenting system deficiencies and remediation strategies within RMF.
• Familiar with NIST SP 800-53A controls and security assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Engineer cybersecurity solutions for mission systems, software, networks, and lab environments.
• Train junior engineers on cybersecurity practices and RMF artifact generation.
• Translate requirements into implementable designs, configurations, and verification methods.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity artifacts, diagrams, and system hardening approaches.
• Lead vulnerability management, interpret scans, validate findings, and coordinate remediation.
