Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Secret-cleared Systems Engineer Lead to support the DoD Battle Network in Northern Virginia, Dayton, OH, or Orlando, FL. The role involves leading systems engineering across the lifecycle, interfacing with the customer, and maturing complex DoD systems.

Candidates should have Top Secret clearance, a BS or MS with extensive DoD experience, strong communication, and proficiency in SysML and Agile tools.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS degree and 12–15 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of systems engineering concepts and applying them to DoD programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives and other engineers.
• Experience in cross-functional planning, coordination, and execution for system integration.
• Able to work with people from different disciplines with varying technical experience.
• Experience with SysML and Agile program execution tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle for all phases.
• Accountable for systems engineering artifacts including Requirements and Architecture.
• Interface with customer and partners to ensure feasibility of objectives.
• Lead technical information exchange to support program objectives.
• Develop technical roadmaps with the technical program manager.
• Document risk, requirements, interfaces, constraints clearly.
• Provide performance feedback and guidance to direct reports.
• Foster collaboration and transparency among all stakeholders.
