Job summary

RightDirection Technology Solutions LLC in Washington, DC, seeks a cleared Network Engineer to support the Treasury Department. This is a full-time, 100% onsite role in downtown DC with standard office hours and immediate availability after favorable background clearance.

The position covers full network operations, security, and infrastructure management across intranet, extranet, LAN, and WAN. Responsibilities include vulnerability management, VTC issues, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance and eligibility for access to federal facilities.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting network operations for a federal agency.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking devices and configurations.
• Preferred certifications CCNP, CCNA, Security+, Net+.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain day-to-day operation of the enterprise network (LAN/WAN).
• Design, configure, and test networking hardware and software per architecture.
• Administer Cisco devices (WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, controllers) and troubleshoot.
• Monitor, optimize, and secure network performance; implement STIGs as required.
• Support disaster recovery, incident response, and after-hours maintenance as needed.
