Job summary

RightDirection Technology Solutions, LLC seeks a cleared Network Engineer to support the U.S. Dept of Treasury in Washington, D.C. This 100% onsite role requires performing the full range of network operations, including VTC administration, CISCO devices, and STIG-based security.

The engineer will design, implement, test, and troubleshoot networks, coordinate access, and support disaster recovery. A Security Clearance and 5+ years federal experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance
• 5+ years in supporting network operations with a federal government agency
• Demonstrated knowledge of CISCO network devices
• Desired certifications: CCNP, CCNA, Security+, Net+
• College degree in Network Operations & Security desired

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain day-to-day operation of the network infrastructure.
• Assist in disaster recovery operations and protect data, software, and hardware.
• Replace faulty network hardware components and coordinate with customers to identify issues.
• Design, configure, test networking software, hardware and OS, review designs for architecture consistency.
• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot CISCO devices (WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, controllers).
• Monitor and optimize network performance and security measures (STIGs).
• Coordinate network access and usage and maintain system documentation.
