Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician to support 24/7 data center infrastructure, focusing on hands-on electrical and mechanical systems, safety, and rapid incident response.

You will work within a diverse team of engineers and operations staff, handling preventative maintenance, on-call duties, and collaboration across teams to ensure reliability and cost efficiency in our data centers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Owns and maintains safety standards in a data center environment.
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, HVAC PMs, and rack power installs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
