Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate night cleaning operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards.
• Inspect work areas regularly for cleanliness, safety hazards, and compliance with protocols.
• Train and mentor custodial staff on cleaning techniques, safety and customer service expectations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, laundry services, and janitorial materials.
• Conduct routine inspections.
• Enforce health and safety regulations by monitoring sanitation practices and corrective actions.
• Lead scheduling for custodial teams to optimize coverage.
• Cover shifts when required (callouts, vacation, sick leave).
• Fill in when employees call out.
• Maintain vacant cleaning positions.
• Nightly site visits.

• Train and mentor custodial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, laundry services, and janitorial materials to ensure adequate stock levels
• Conduct routine inspections
• Enforce health and safety regulations by monitoring sanitation practices and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Lead scheduling efforts for custodial teams to optimize coverage during peak hours or special events
• Cover shifts when required, i.e., callouts, vacation, sick leave.
• Fill in When Employees Call Out
• Maintain Vacant Cleaning Positions
• Nightly Site Visits

Skills

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and inspections simultaneously
