SQC SOlutions is seeking a dynamic Area Custodian Team Lead to oversee custodial operations across Pensacola, Destin, Gulf Breeze and surrounding areas. The role focuses on supervising staff, developing cleaning schedules, and ensuring high cleanliness and safety standards across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, the ability to train staff, and a commitment to service excellence in hotels, hospitals, or commercial environments.

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in custodial services or management in commercial settings.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation abilities.
• Experience training staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols and equipment use.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety regulations and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial staff across multiple locations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, safety procedures and quality control measures.
• Train custodial teams on techniques, safety, equipment use and customer service expectations.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards and identify improvement areas.
• Lead cleaning projects including deep cleans or hazardous material handling.
• Foster a positive team environment through leadership and clear communication.
• Fill in when employees call out and maintain vacant cleaning positions.
• Perform nightly site visits to ensure standards are met.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate custodial staff across multiple locations, ensuring all cleaning and housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly


• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and quality control measures aligned with organizational standards


• Train custodial teams on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, equipment use and customer service expectations


• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, janitorial equipment and other materials; place orders as needed


• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement


• Lead efforts in commercial cleaning projects, including specialized tasks such as deep cleans or hazardous material handling


• Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation and clear communication

must have Valid Driver License

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in custodial services or management or commercial environments


• Extensive janitorial and custodial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation and safety regulations


• Prior management experience overseeing teams.


• Familiarity custodial industry standards is highly desirable


• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage multiple locations simultaneously


• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across diverse facilities
