Job summary

RSL LifeCare in Narrandera is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents in our aged care homes. You will work within a supportive team and contribute to high standards of hygiene and resident comfort.

The role focuses on practical cleaning tasks, stock replenishment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals, with a commitment to WHS policies and resident wellbeing.

• Adherence to general cleaning schedule ensuring all areas area maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
• Check and replenish supplies such as liquid soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc.
• Check supply of cleaning chemicals and fill containers as required.
• Spot clean spills
• Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.
• Comply with relevant RSL LifeCare WHS policies, procedures, and reasonable instruction
• Maintain a safe work environment and take reasonable care for others' health and safety(including visitors, Community members, team members and contractors)
