Job summary

BallyCara is seeking a dedicated part-time Community Aged Care worker to provide in-home cleaning and support, helping clients live independently and with dignity. You’ll build trust, offer companionship, and promote social connection in a flexible Tue-Fri schedule from 9am to 3pm.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day will be a little different, but your work may include:

• Domestic cleaning and household assistance
• Supporting clients to live independently at home
• Building trusted relationships and meaningful connections
• Providing companionship and a friendly face
• Encouraging social connection and participation
• Observing and reporting changes in wellbeing
• Maintaining service records and client documentation
• Following care plans and organisational guidelines

The Opportunities

• Tuesday to Friday with availability from 9am till 3pm

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

You'll bring:

• Experience in Community Aged Care or Home Care
• Domestic cleaning experience within clients' homes
• A caring, respectful and compassionate nature
• The ability to work independently
• A genuine passion for supporting older people

You'll Also Need

• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations highly recommended
