Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking a Custodian for our High Point, NC manufacturing shop on first shift. You will clean and sanitize facilities, floors, restrooms, and breakrooms, and support a fast-paced team.

We offer weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and a 401(k) with company match. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; prior janitorial or maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in English or Spanish required.

• Prior janitor or maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean and sweep manufacturing facility daily.
• Dust walls.
• Collect trash outside the facility.
• Operate weedwhacker for outdoor shrubbery as needed.
• Maintain custodian room and stocked supplies.
• Work safely and follow all safety rules and policies.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.

Custodian Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Custodian to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. position is available on first shift.

Schedule:

• 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Location:

• 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms
• Clean and sweep manufacturing facility daily
• Dust walls
• Collect trash outside the manufacturing facility
• Operate weedwhacker to maintain outdoor shrubbery as needed
• Maintain a neat and orderly custodian room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
• Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
• Work in a fast-paced team environment

Education Requirements/Qualifications:

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• Previous janitor or maintenance experience preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
