Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our manufacturing shop in HQ High Point, North Carolina.

You will install piping systems, read blueprints, fabricate supports, supervise helpers, and ensure safety. Candidates should have a high school education and 5 years pipefitting experience; bilingual English/Spanish is accepted.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in English or Spanish is required.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• Rigging knowledge preferred.
• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings and their functions.
• General knowledge of code requirements and limitations.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.
• Read blueprints and submittals.
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.
• Work independently and problem solve.
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision.
• Practice all EAS safety procedures.
• Hold license to operate equipment necessary for the role.

Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Location: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water
• Read blueprints and submittals
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines
• Work independently and problem solve
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping
• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision

Education Requirements/Qualifications
