Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC is actively looking for skilled Pipefitters to join our team in High Point, North Carolina. This role involves installing and repairing industrial piping systems across various applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of pipefitting experience preferred.
• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
• Knowledge of different types of pipes, valves, and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems such as chilled water and steam.
• Read blueprints and submittals for projects.
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina.

Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Location: High Point, NC

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water
• Read blueprints and submittals
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines
• Work independently and problem solve
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping
• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision
• Practice all EAS safety procedures

Education Requirements / Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• Rigging knowledge preferred
• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods
• Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions
• General knowledge of code requirements and limitations
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
