Job summary

Marsden-Central is seeking a dependable cleaner for evening shifts in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves cleaning three busy buildings with mop, sweep, vacuum, and sanitize tasks, plus waste removal and restroom upkeep. Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00pm to 9:30pm.

You will work in office spaces, training rooms, fitness rooms, and locker rooms, requiring attention to detail, ability to lift up to 30lbs, and reliable attendance. A background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors throughout.
• Waste Removal: Collecting and disposing of trash from bins throughout the building.
• Restrooms: Cleaning and sanitizing, restocking supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
• Surface cleaning: Dusting, wiping and sanitizing surfaces, fixtures and furniture.

Description

Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00pm to 9:30pm

Consists of office space, cubicles, training room, fitness room, restrooms, breakroom & locker rooms. There are 3 separate buildings to clean. These are very, very busy buildings with a lot of foot traffic. There is a lot of mud, dirt, etc. tracked into these buildings. Applicant must be dependable & very detailed oriented. There is a lot of hard floors to sweep and mop or auto-scrub. There is a small auto-scrubber that is utilized in the common areas.

• You must be 18 years old.
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
• A pre-employment criminal background check is required.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Job Duties

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors throughout.
