Job summary

Chicago Urban League is seeking an Energy Transition Navigator to foster a network of community-based providers across Illinois. You will educate, outreach, and recruit eligible individuals to participate in clean energy workforce and contractor development programs.

Responsibilities include engaging community partners, conducting informational sessions, developing curricula, and tracking participation with monthly CEJA-related reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community outreach, education, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of clean energy principles and workforce development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse communities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local community organizations, leaders, and stakeholders.
• Organize and attend community meetings, workshops, and events to promote clean energy programs.
• Identify eligible individuals for participation in clean energy workforce programs and conduct information sessions.
• Track outreach activities and prepare monthly reports on participation and outcomes.
• Develop training materials and curricula for program delivery and provide participant mentorship.
