Job summary

Taskrabbit is hiring a Claude-focused AI engineer to own the deployment lifecycle of Claude-powered agents and internal tools. You will embed with Marketing, Support, Finance, and Operations to scope use cases, build production systems, and measure real impact.

We seek 2+ years of production Claude experience, strong software fundamentals, and the ability to communicate tradeoffs to senior leaders. This hybrid role requires two in-office days per week in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Production Claude experience with hands-on work in building AI agents or tools.
• Fluent in API integration, testing, and debugging end-to-end systems.
• Ability to explain architecture choices and production issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Embed with business functions and scope use cases into scoped builds.
• Design, write, test, and deploy Claude-powered agents and internal tools.
• Make engineering decisions about model selection, caching, and cost.
• Define metrics, instrument results, and prove impact.
• Enable non-technical teams to build lightweight automations.
• Influence senior leaders and align with company OKRs.
• Scale reusable patterns across teams.
