Job summary

Hereford ISD Districtwide in Hereford, Texas seeks a Technology Assistant to provide on-site encouragement and support to teachers, administrators, and students in using technology to enhance instruction and learning.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of PC hardware experience, OS support on Microsoft/Apple platforms, and proficiency with Microsoft and Apple Office Suites; lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• One or two years prior computer, telecommunications, and/or electronic data processing experience with PC hardware.
• Extensive equipment support experience with Microsoft/Apple Operating Systems and Microsoft/Apple Office Suites
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds or more

Responsibilities

• To provide on-site encouragement and support to teachers, administrators, and students in the use of technology to support instruction, learning assessment, curriculum development, communication, collaboration, research, text and multimedia production and resource access.
