Job summary

Harmony Public Schools in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced instructional technology specialist to assist campuses with training and deployment of technology. You will set up, coordinate and monitor computer equipment, and support teachers and staff in using hardware and software to enhance learning.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, inventory management, and collaboration with district staff to implement technology projects.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.

Responsibilities

  • Cooperate with District staff to improve education through instructional technology.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing instructional technology applications.
  • Provide ongoing in-service to teachers, administrators and support staff in hardware and software usage.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software to identify malfunctions.
  • Maintain technology inventory records and paperwork.
  • Coordinate efforts to assist schools in selecting and evaluating computer hardware and software.
  • Establish and maintain technology resources for classroom use.
  • Attend local, state, and district meetings/workshops to share information with district schools.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.
