Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet Highly Qualified Status by possessing one of the following qualifications.
• Association of required degrees or coursework with transferability as stated.
• Bus driver certification and state requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Follow all rules, policies and procedures, plus state and federal regulations.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Monitor student work and progress as directed by the teacher.
• Provide praise and reinforce student achievement.
• Assist with clerical duties and attendance records as needed.
• Serve as proctor during testing and field trips.
• Assist with strategies tailored to individual student needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
