Qualifications

• Must meet Highly Qualified Status by holding one of the listed qualifications (Associate's Degree, 48 hours coursework, Pathways I + TA II 96 hours).
• Must maintain appropriate bus driver certification if serving as Bus Driver/Sub Bus Driver when required by the principal.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Monitor work and progress of students; provide praise and support.
• Assist with clerical duties and record-keeping.
• Proctor during testing and supervise students during various activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and uphold ethical standards.
• Support a safe classroom environment and assist with emergencies and drills.
