Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Paraprofessional to assist teachers in providing a high-quality education program in Boston Public Schools. Duties include supporting instruction, preparing materials, and managing classroom behavior.

The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED, experience with young children, and current authorization to work in the U.S. Fluency in an official language of Boston Public Schools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience working with young children.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supports direct instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in classrooms.
• Prepares instructional materials and assists in classroom setup and cleanup.
• Supervises students on field trip activities.

Skills

Experience working with young children

Fluency in one of Boston Public Schools' official languages

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Forty-eight (48) Credit Hours of College Coursework or an Associate's Degree

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
