Job summary

Boston Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction to students. You will assist in classroom activities, prepare instructional materials, set up and clean up, and supervise students on field trips under the supervision of the Principal/Head of School.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 48 college credits or an Associate's Degree, or pass ParaPro/WorkKeys, plus at least two years of experience with young children and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 48 credit hours or an Associate's Degree, or passing ParaPro/WorkKeys.
• Minimum of two years experience working with young children.
• Authorization to work in the United States by start date.

Responsibilities

• Supports direct instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings.
• Provides assistance with classroom activities.
• Prepares instructional materials.
• Assists in classroom set up and clean up.
• Manages individual and classroom behavior using prescribed approaches.
• Supervises students on field trips.
• Performs other related duties as requested by Head of School/Principal.
