Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District is seeking a dedicated aide to support classroom objectives. You will work with individual students or small groups to reinforce concepts and assist the teacher in delivering activities.

The role focuses on guiding independent work, supervising tests, and helping with lunch and transition routines while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Must have, or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification and keep certifications current.
• Must pass a background clearance.
• Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be able to bend and lift 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Works with individual students or groups of students to reinforce learning.
• Guides independent study, enrichment, and remedial work set up by the teacher.
• Checks class work, grades papers and supervises testing as assigned by the teacher.
• Serves as chief source of information for substitutes and alerts the teacher to problems.
• Maintains confidentiality of information and ethical behavior.
• Assists with lunch, snacks, recess and cleanup routines and helps students with wash-up.
