Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District seeks a Student Support - Classified staff member to assist with supervising and instructing students under direct supervision. You will support the teacher with classroom activities and handle routine clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work well with students, staff and parents; strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to operate general office machines.
• Ability to organize and prioritize.
• Experience working with elementary level students.
• Background clearance required.
• Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision and instruction of students under direct supervision.
• Relieve teacher of routine clerical tasks and support classroom activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical behavior.
• Assist with in-service training and emergency drills.
• Support with supervision during structured activities and field trips.
