Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District is seeking an hourly Cafeteria Aide to assist in the cafeteria and playground during lunch periods. You will supervise students, help maintain a safe and pleasant meal environment, and support staff with orderly dining and transitions.

The role emphasizes positive interaction with children, supervision, and basic cleanliness tasks to align with district policies and nutrition services goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to monitor and supervise groups of students in a positive manner.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and assist during lunch and playground times.
• Ensure student safety and well-being in cafeteria operations.
• Provide courteous service to students, staff and community.
• Demonstrate patient, friendly interaction with children.
• Encourage healthy eating and orderly table cleanup.
• Direct student traffic to maintain calm, orderly meals.
• Refer discipline issues to the administrator as needed.
• Oversee cleanup, sanitizing tables and floors after meals.
• Support district priorities with safe, reliable duties.
