Qualifications

• Must be physically able to lift and assist students.
• Provide bus supervision when needed.
• Aid in classroom teaching including planning and instruction.
• Assist with instruction of students with handicaps, including care in feeding, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist teachers in small groups or one-to-one instruction.
• Provide general assistance to students in the classroom.
• Conduct activities as directed by the teacher.
• Prepare instructional materials as outlined by the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Be physically able to lift and assist as needed.
• Provide bus supervision when required.
• Aid in classroom teaching including planning and instruction.
• Assist with instruction for students with handicaps, including care activities.
• Work with students in small groups or one-to-one to implement programs.
• Support general student needs within classroom.
• Carry out activities with teacher input and directions.
