Responsibilities

• Be physically able and willing to lift and assist students as needed.
• Provide bus supervision, as needed.
• Aid in classroom teaching including planning and general instruction; participate in extracurricular activities.
• Assist with instruction for students based on individual needs, including care related to feeding, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Support teachers by implementing instructional programs, including small group or one-to-one work.
• Provide general assistance to students in the classroom.
• Lead activities for students under teacher direction.
• Prepare instructional materials as outlined by the teacher.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or supervisors.
