Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an Aide - Extracurricular - AS NEEDED for Herndon Consolidated Elementary and Middle School. This contract/hourly assignment supports the school by assisting with instructional activities and supervising extracurricular programs.

Responsibilities include lifting and assisting students, providing bus supervision as needed, and helping with classroom activities, including care for students with handicaps, under the guidance of the principal and Special Services

Qualifications

• Be physically able and willing to lift and assist students as needed.
• Must be able to provide bus supervision as needed.
• Assist with classroom teaching and extracurricular activities.
• Assist with instruction for students with handicaps, including mobility care.
• First Aid/CPR certification is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or administrators.
