Qualifications

• Experience with school-age children.
• HS diploma and 2 years of college or equivalent.
• Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by implementing lesson plans and developing students' daily living and behavioral skills.
• Maintain classroom equipment, bulletin boards, and student files to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Adapt classroom work to support and reinforce objectives.
• Monitor students to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Perform basic clerical tasks and scheduling to support the teacher.
• Lead individuals or groups in learning activities as directed by the teacher.
• Provide basic first aid and medical assistance where needed.
• Assist with language assessments and bilingual translations as required.
• Translate verbal and written communications to support students and staff.
