University of Nebraska Medical Center in Kearney, NE is seeking a Classroom Event Technologist II to provide onsite AV support for classes, meetings, and events. The role requires troubleshooting of audio/visual equipment and strong knowledge of Windows and iOS devices, with experience in web conferencing and room systems.

Located in the Douglas A. Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex, this on-site position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no remote work.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Multimedia, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Two years of direct experience with operation, setup, installation, troubleshooting and diagnostics of AV equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and iOS devices; experience with enterprise conference rooms and web conferencing.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical support and troubleshooting for moderately complex AV equipment and systems for classes, meetings, and events.
• Support enterprise conference rooms and event/education spaces with integrated AV technology for web conferencing and presentations.
• Communicate via email and cell phone for voice/text; follow the schedule for support times.
• Assist with basic maintenance and setup of audio/visual equipment, displays, and recording devices.

Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex ( RHEC ) on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus in Kearney, NE..

IT professional provides support for enterprise conference rooms and event/education spaces with integrated audio/visual technology for web conferencing and presentations. Requires sufficient knowledge to provide basic support for Windows and iOS devices.

Follows schedule for support times, communicates via email and cell phone for voice/text.
