Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word seeks a Media Services Technician to assist in installing classroom audiovisual and instructional technology equipment, coordinating services to UIW classrooms as requested by faculty or staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer service standards, troubleshooting AMX/Crestron/Extron systems, and supervising student workers as needed. Position reports to the Media Services Manager and is full-time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related professional experience with audiovisual technologies or relevant coursework considered.

Responsibilities

• Install classroom audiovisual and instructional tech equipment.
• Coordinate/deliver audiovisual services to UIW classrooms as requested by faculty or staff.
• Maintain customer service standards in all interactions.
• Troubleshoot and support AMX, Crestron, and Extron control systems.
• Supervise and train student workers when needed.
