Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) seeks a Media Services Technician to assist the Media Services Manager in installing classroom audiovisual and instructional technology equipment. You will coordinate delivery of AV services to UIW classrooms and maintain high customer service standards.

The role requires one year of related AV experience, knowledge of Windows OS, and ability to work with faculty and staff. Hours are semester-based, with potential weekends, and salary is $45,000 annualized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related professional experience with AV technologies.
• Technical coursework in AV or related field considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of classroom audiovisual equipment.
• Coordinate and deliver audiovisual services to UIW classrooms.
• Supervise and train student workers when needed.
• Troubleshoot AMX/Crestron/Extron systems and basic IT issues.
