Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word is seeking a Media Services Technician to assist the Media Services team in installing and supporting classroom audiovisual equipment. You will coordinate services, deliver AV support for faculty, and help maintain desktop and laptop systems across UIW classrooms.

The role requires one year of AV experience, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with AMX, Biamp, Crestron and Extron. This is a full-time on-site position in San Antonio with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related professional experience with audiovisual technologies; coursework may count.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21.
• Familiarity with AMX, Biamp, Crestron and Extron.
• Experience with wired and wireless networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, installs and supports classroom and meeting room technologies.
• Troubleshoots audiovisual equipment issues in a timely fashion.
• Provides training and support to faculty and staff on AV equipment.
• Maintains proficiency in desktop and laptop computer maintenance.
• Oversees delivery and operation of audiovisual services and manages inventory.
