Pacific Clinics is seeking a Classroom Aide to support classroom activities for typically developing children and those with disabilities. You will assist in daily routines, reinforce lessons, and help create culturally relevant materials under professional guidance.

Qualifications

• 12 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from CTC-equivalent to CDA.
• Maintain DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index Clearances.
• Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification.
• 6 infant/toddler units preferred.
• Child Development Teacher Permit preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in Windows environment (Word/Excel).

Responsabilités

• Assists classroom staff in all activities, indoors and outdoors as per lesson plans.
• Develops materials and activities reflecting the cultural background of children and families.
• Supervises feeding and meal times to promote nutrition and social skills.
• Care for children in daily routines including diapering, feeding, and napping.
• Visually supervise children and maintain a safe environment in classrooms.
• Support teachers and participate in events like Family Nights and newsletters.
• Serve as a temporary substitute when needed and assist with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Comply with IEP/IFSP plans and attend required workshops and meetings.
• Communicate effectively in a diverse setting and promote positive interactions.
