Job summary

Community Action For Improvement Inc (CAFI) is seeking a Program Aide to support classroom activities, meals, and bus services for preschool children, including those with special needs. Under the Center Manager and classroom Teacher supervision, you will help with lesson-related tasks and light cleaning.

Responsibilities include assisting with field trips, developing materials reflecting cultural backgrounds, supervising during mealtimes, and serving as a substitute when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with pre-school children preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff in activities, field trips, and outdoor activities per lesson plans.
• Help develop materials and activities reflecting the cultural backgrounds of children/families.
• Supervise mealtime to promote nutrition and social skills.
• Keep classroom clean and orderly; assist with teacher tasks as needed.
• Serve as temporary substitute for staff when needed and perform similar duties.
