Job summary

Clackamas County Children's Commission, Inc. seeks a Classroom Aide to support the Teacher and Assistant Teacher in delivering high-quality early childhood education.

You will help implement daily activities, manage materials, and assist with family engagement and safety protocols. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson follow-through, preparing meals per CACFP guidelines, and participating in trainings and events.

Qualifications

• U.S. High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• Current CDA or ability to complete CDA within one year preferred.
• Knowledge of child development preferred.
• Experience working with children ages three to five preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher and Assistant Teacher with daily classroom activities and schedules.
• Follow through and evaluation of daily lesson plans.
• Ensure classroom is stocked with materials and supplies.
