Job summary

Community Action Marin is seeking a Classroom Aide to support daily care and active supervision of children in center-based programs. This entry-level role works with teaching staff and Site/Area Manager to maintain a welcoming, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment.

Part-time and full-time hourly positions are available, with schedules based on program needs. No early childhood education units required, and flexibility is valued for staffing coverage and classroom operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ECE coursework preferred but not required.
• Pursuing coursework or degree in related field encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active supervision of children per licensing requirements.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions.
• Support safety, meals, and sanitation practices in classroom.
• Assist with attendance and sign-in/out records.
