CLACKAMAS COUNTY CHILDREN'S COMMISSION, INC. seeks a Classroom Aide to support the Teacher and Assistant Teacher in delivering high-quality early childhood education.

You will help implement daily plans, ensure materials are ready, and document child observations for individual tailoring. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson execution, participating in school events, and following CACFP meal guidelines while maintaining a safe, organized classroom and upholding confidentiality and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current CDA preferred or ability to complete within one year of hire.
• Knowledge of child development is preferred.
• Experience with children aged three to five is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher and Assistant Teacher in carrying out daily classroom activities and schedules.
• Assist with follow-through and evaluation of the daily lesson plan.
• Ensure classroom has all needed materials and supplies.
• Input child behavior observation notes for individualization.
• Participate in Open House and class/center events.
• Apply PBIS approach in directing and guiding children.
• Act as bus monitor if needed and participate in bus monitor training.
• Maintain a neat, safe, clutter-free classroom environment.
• Provide child care at Family Gatherings if needed; assist in meal prep per CACFP guidelines.
